Nirvana or teavana

Zen quote of the day: "Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis on which the world earth revolves - slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future. Live the actual moment. Only this moment is life.” ~Thich Nhat Hanh

I'm a coffee drinker in the morning and a tea drinker in the afternoon. This week I'm trying ACAI (ah-sigh-ee) berry green tea, which is pleasant and blackcurrant-y (although the Republic of Tea website mentions flavors of grapes and blueberries). Oh well.

Acai Green Tea Bags
"One of the most nutritious fruits in the world, the Açaí berry has the rich flavors of concord grape and ripe blueberries. Combined with the crisp flavors of green tea this delicious duo offers a one-two punch of antioxidants. Sip your way to good health with this green tea blend."
This berry comes from the Açaí palm tree. Eight species are native to Central and South America, from Belize to Brazil and Peru, growing mainly in swamps and floodplains. Açaí palms are tall, slender palms growing to 15–30 meters, with pinnate leaves up to 3 meters long.

The Brazilian people have used Açaí berries for years to treat skin conditions and digestive disorders. Some of the more recent claims made are that products made from Açaí berries can help lower cholesterol, help with weight loss and give more energy. There are some more facts about the Açaí Berry on Wikpedia:
