Komodo Dragon

Sitting here typing and drinking a cup of Starbucks Komodo Dragon blend coffee this morning...which is delicious and probably my favorite blend so far. This seems appropriate, with 2012 being the Chinese Year of the Dragon.  "Surprisingly snappy like the Komodo Dragon for which it's named, this blend of Asia/Pacific whole bean coffee is recognizable for its earthy and spicy notes and full-bodied smoothness. Well-balanced with low acidity, this is the perfect blend to make a bold start to your day."

According to Wikipedia:  "The Komodo dragon (Varanus komodoensis), also known as the Komodo monitor, is a large species of lizard found in the Indonesian islands of Komodo, Rinca, Flores, Gili Motang and Gili Dasami. A member of the monitor lizard family, it is the largest living species of lizard, growing to a maximum length of 3 metres (9.8 ft) in rare cases and weighing up to around 70 kilograms (150 lb). Their unusual size has been attributed to island gigantism, since there are no other carnivorous animals to fill the niche on the islands where they live."

According to dream symbolism, seeing a komodo dragon in your dreams means that you need to be more flexible in your thinking and decision making.  Your agility and strength will get you what you want. You need to take advantage of the opportunities presented to you.  The Komodo Dragon also symbolizes genuine fear.
