British politics is better than any TV sit com at the moment, largely thanks to the Education Secretary. Michael Gove comes up with his second hair brained idea of the week. Following his idea of a new royal yacht for the Royal Family....this time he wants to spend over 375,000 to send every state school in England a new copy of the King James Bible, with a foreword by Michael Gove himself...to mark the 400th anniversary of its translation.  You couldn't make this stuff up...even the Tory press are having a field day with this one.

In this youtube video, Labor MP Tom Watson calls Michael Gove "a miserable pipsqueak of a man" after Mr. Gove confirmed that building projects at nine Black Country schools had been cancelled by the Government as part of the austerity measures.
