5K Run/Walk to End Homelessness

This second annual event, benefiting A Safe Haven social service agency and its efforts to help Chicago's homeless, takes place on the majestic grounds of Douglas Park. In addition to a 5K run and 5K walk, it also features a kids' dash. The morning also features an awards ceremony, prize raffles and a festive lineup of musical entertainment until Noon.
