Festival Gardens Liverpool - reopening

I was very happy to hear that the Liverpool Festival Gardens site is going to re-open to the public later this year. The 1984 garden festival was held on a 950,000 square meter derelict industrial site south of  Herculaneum Dock, near the Dingle and overlooking the River Mersey. There were sixty individual gardens including a Japanese garden with pagodas. A large exhibition space, the Festival Hall, formed the centerpiece of the site and housed numerous indoor exhibits. http://www.festivalgardens.com/
